SAATH's advocacy is twofold — we have an education and an election wing.

To enhance South Asian's engagement in politics and integrate them into progressive movements, we focus on simplifying policy and decision information while creating opportunities for active participation.

Education → We simplify political issues for South Asian youth through social media and Substack, making politics accessible and relevant

Elections → We back South Asian candidates and mobilize youth to get involved, supporting races like Ravi Bhalla and building a national network of campaign fellows.

This is more than a fellowship—it's a launchpad. Our fellows have gone on to intern and work with leading advocacy groups, grassroots campaigns, and high-profile political organizations:

  • Capitol Hill
  • Federal Bureau of Investigation
  • US Department of Commerce
  • Presidential & Mayoral Campaigns
  • Indian American Impact Foundation
  • ACLU

Along the way, they've shaped real change, built lifelong networks, and gained hands-on experience at the front lines of justice and democracy. If you're ready to turn your passion into impact, this is your moment. Apply now and see where this journey can take you!
